A final tribute to the Veterans of our Armed Services who gave their all.
San Diego California provides a rich patriotic setting for America's Armed Forces, and includes the scenic Fort Rosecrans
National Cemetery at Point Loma and the new Miramar National Cemetery, as well as the home of their Support Foundation.
The National Cemetery at Point Loma has provided a resting place for Veterans since 1845. The Support
Foundation has led the way for our blossoming Veteran population with the January 2010 ground breaking of the new Miramar
National Cemetery, a 313 acre "Garden of Heroes", on property at Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Miramar.
The focus of the Fort Rosecrans and Miramar National Cemetery Support Foundation is the enhancement of
the Cemetery activities and, specifically for the new Cemetery, to advise on individual memorial projects including a
distinctive service chapel, to raise funds for installation or construction of those projects, to administer memorial trust
funds, and to provide Honor Details for interment services.
