Fort Rosecrans and Miramar National Cemetery Support Foundation

Mission Statement

To support the activities of the Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery and the new Miramar National Cemetery by advising on specific memorial projects to include a distinctive service chapel, raising funds to construct those projects, administering memorial trust funds, and providing Honors functions for interment services:

"To ensure that San Diego's National Cemeteries will always be Shrines to Our Heroes"

The Commemorative Works and Memorial Monuments Committee of the Fort Rosecrans and Miramar National Cemetery Support Foundation has been established to assist organizations that wish to enhance and beautify the new cemetery at Miramar with their donation of a commemorative work or a memorial monument.

This committee will help the organization secure approval from the National Cemetery Administration and will raise funds through the Support Foundation for landscaping, siting and a perpetual maintenance trust.

Our goals are high and our tasks are extensive, your support is vital to realize the many planned enhancements such as the following:
